Ravan Ella Waterfall

Ravan Ella (not to be confused with Ravana Ella) is about 4km away from Bomburu Ella. It is not well known to many but it is a beautiful waterfall. If you go from Bomburuella you can reach this waterfall by going about two or three kilometers on Bomburuella Welimada road, about one kilometer on Uduhawara Korandekumbura road and another kilometer on Uduhawara junction. Legend has it that there was a pot filled with gold at the foot of the Ravan Falls which was about 40 meters high and hence the name ‘Ravan Ella’ was derived from the idea of ​​catching gold. It is also known as ‘Ravan Ella’ as it has golden water. This waterfall has plenty of water all year round. It looks so beautiful when there is water. So, if you go to see Bomburu Ella, there will be no loss if you go to see this waterfall too.
