Bomburu Ella Waterfall

Bomburuella Falls is located in Perawella on the border of Nuwara Eliya and Badulla Districts in Uvaparanagama Divisional Secretariat Division. It is 50 meters high and is also known as “Perawella Falls”. It is the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka and consists of a number of small waterfalls.

The source of Bomburuella Falls is a lake located in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It is the perfect place for you to relax and take a shower. Camping at this location is prohibited by the Government of Sri Lanka. The water of Bomburuella Falls has been diverted to a power station in the area and used for cultivation.
